Your Health Data

Last updated 8 October 2026

This page is the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy of CRITIXFIT LIMITED, Hong Kong (company no. 81235804). It is written for people in the United States, where laws such as the Washington My Health My Data Act, the Nevada consumer health data law and the Connecticut data privacy law give extra protection to health information. We apply it to everyone who uses CritixFit. It sits beside our Privacy Policy, and if the two differ on consumer health data, the stricter one applies.

What health data we collect, and why

We collect only what is needed to build and adjust your training plan, let your coaches answer you, keep your training safe, and show you your own history.

  • Heart rate, and HRV from your phone camera or your watch

    Why we collect it
To show how recovered you are, and to set how hard a day should be
  • Sleep

    Why we collect it
To show how rested you are and to adjust training
  • Weight, height and age

    Why we collect it
To set up your profile and to size your plan
  • Injuries and areas of pain

    Why we collect it
To keep your plan and the strength exercises away from what hurts
  • Whether you have a heart condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating, if you tell us

    Why we collect it
To keep your plan and your coaches gentler and safer. You choose whether to answer
  • Your check-in answers: soreness, mood and energy

    To adjust your next sessions
  • Workout data and GPS routes

    Why we collect it
To show your workouts, maps and progress, and to plan what comes next
  • What you say to a coach, in chat and in voice calls

    Why we collect it
To answer you and to make coaching fit you. We do not store call audio or call transcripts

Where it comes from

From you, from your own devices (your phone camera and sensors, your watch), and from the services you choose to connect, such as Garmin, Strava or Google Health. You can disconnect a service at any time, and we then stop receiving new data from it.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers that run CritixFit for us, listed on the sub-processors page. They hold your data under contracts that limit them to providing the service to us. Some of these providers are outside your country, as the sub-processors page shows.

We do not sell your health data. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not give it to data brokers, advertisers or analytics tools to use for their own purposes. We do not share it with anyone else unless you give a separate consent for that.

We collect your health data only with your consent, which you give separately from the Terms and the Privacy Policy, and which we record with the time and the version of the text you saw. You can withdraw it at any time in Settings, under Privacy. When you withdraw, the features that need that data stop working, and we stop collecting it.

Your rights

  • Confirm and access: ask whether we hold health data about you, and see it.
  • Withdraw consent: at any time, in Settings or by email.
  • Delete: delete your account in Settings, or ask us to delete your health data. We then erase or anonymise it, and copies in backups disappear as the backups rotate, within 30 days.
  • Download: download your data in Settings.
  • Appeal: if we say no to a request, you can ask us to reconsider by writing to us again, and you may contact your state attorney general if you are still not satisfied.

To use any of these rights, open Settings in the app or write to [email protected]. We will answer within the time the law requires.

Keeping it safe

Health data is encrypted when it travels and when it is stored, and our database rules limit each record to its owner. On the web app, our analytics record page views and clicks only, with all text hidden, so health values do not reach it. On health screens, session recordings hide all text, charts and maps. See the Privacy Policy for more.

Locations

CritixFit does not use geofencing around health facilities.
